    Safety and signalling equipment for infrastructure and rolling stock

    Company ALTPRO was established in 1994 and has had over 20 years of experience in development,production and testing of safety-signalling equipment for rolling stock and infrastructure.

    Based on the company's „know-how“ ALTPRO products have been fully developed and produced in Croatia and have proved their competitiveness on the global market.

    With its complete safety-signalling product range for rolling stock and infrastructure, ALTPRO is one of the four producers of the above-mentioned equipment in the world.

    Through a net of distributors and representatives ALTPRO products are present on the markets of 45 countries on 6 continents.

    ALTPRO has developed and is currently manufacturing 900 different devices and units - all its safety products have been certified according to EU norms by the independent body TÜV Rheinland.

    Since the very beginning ALTPRO has invested in its most valuable resources-its employees,and today it employs more than 100 experts in the fields of research, development, design, production and maintenance.

    ALTPRO signed framework contract for 214 level crossing systems

    ALTPRO is selected as the preferred bidder on the international tender and on 11th September has signed a framework contract to supply 214 level crossing protection systems.

    On 12th August 2014, HŽ Infrastruktura (Croatian Railways infrastructure manager) has selected ALTPRO d.o.o. as the preferred bidder in the international tender for a framework contract to supply 214 fully automatic electronic SIL4 level crossing protection systems.

    The contract is signed on 11th September. ALTPRO technical/commercial offer has been accepted as the best among the six bidders in total: ALTPRO, ICF Ingenieria y Control Ferroviario, Müszer Automatika KFT, Scheidt und Bachmann GmbH, Siemens AG Östereich, AŽD Praha s.r.o.

    The frame contract will be signed for a period of 4 years and it is a part of the long-term plan defined by Croatian Railways and Ministry of maritime affairs, transport and infrastructure for reducing big number of accidents on level crossings in Croatian railways network.
